I am always on the hunt for the perfect product to keep my brows in place. Since I shape my brows practically every day, this is something that I run through pretty quickly so I’d rather it not be too expensive. My go to brow pencil is MAC’s Brow Pencil in Stud. At $15 it is not cheap and even with my pro discount, $9 is still expensive when it only lasts a few weeks. Maybelline Define-a-Brow is a good substitute but almost the same price as the MAC pencil (with Pro discount.) My Wet ‘n Wild Ultimate Brow Kit is awesome at $1.99 but it takes me longer to do my brows with powder so I prefer a pencil for quick, precise work when I am in a rush to get to work. Enough of my rambling, in comes Wet ‘n Wild’s Coloricon Brow & Eyeliner Pencil in Mink Brown, the perfect substitute for my MAC Brow Pencil in Stud and it’s only $.99!
The Wet ‘n Wild Coloricon Brow Pencils are super long and contain 0.04 ozs. It’s not very travel friendly but definitely budget friendly. It’s not an automatic or self propelling pencil so you do have to sharpen it before use for a precise point. At less than a dollar I’m not complaining though. The pencil is not dry and has a slight waxy feel to it which helps to hold the brows in place all day without using additional products.
Mink Brown is a very deep brown, or rather off black. Most dark brown eyebrow pencils that I’ve used have a red undertone to it and this one doesn’t which makes it match my hair better. I usually keep my hair rinsed jet black or blue black and Mink Brown helps my brows blend with my hair.

A quick fix of my brows to run to the store, you can see the comparison to my hair which is currently dark brown since the color is washing out.
I am so glad that I found this pencil and mad that I haven’t found it a long time ago. I can use the money saved for other beauty goodies, not that I need anymore lol. Going to pick up a few more to make sure that I always have a back up.
Have you tried the Wet ‘n Wild Coloricon Brow Pencils?
