The Milani Runway Eyes Eyeshadows are super smooth, highly pigmented shadows that can be applied dry, or wet to intensify the color. Antigua is a gold infused olive green with a multi-colored shimmer overspray that was released as part of the Spring 2012 Collection.
You can see the multi-colored shimmer very clear in this picture. After the first use, this layer is rubbed away to reveal a gold infused olive green with a pearl finish. Similar to that of a MAC Veluxe Pearl Eyesahdow but not quite as smooth. In the first swatch pic you can still see the multi-colored shimmer at the top and in the next set of swatches it’s gone. The left swatches are dry and right wet…
It would be 10x prettier if the shimmer was throughout the entire eyeshadow and not just an overlay. Without the shimmer Antigua becomes pretty boring while dry but still gorgeous when applied wet. Here is an eye look that I created using Antigua on the lid…
You can clearly see the duochrome of olive green and gold. With a primer and applied wet I was able to get 10+ hrs of wear with no creasing. For a sheer wash of color you can use it dry. Milani Runway Eyes Eyeshadow retails at $6.99 for .07 oz and may be purchased at your local drugstore that sells Milani.

i love love love this colour so much!
I really want to love these eyeshadows, but they kind of suck. I bought a few when they were on sale and I think the formula is just horrible. I really like Milani products and was surprised when I used these. I want to try their new line of eyeshadows.
When dry these aren’t all that great but I love them used wet. I wore the metallic baked eyeshadow in Blue My Mind to TMS NYC and it was gorgeous. I received so many compliments and it stayed all day. For best performance I use a primer, a cream eyeshadow base and I wet the shadow. This gives me the longest wear.
By the way, the new ones are pretty awesome!
I have this color, but haven’t worn it yet. I’m pretty new to the eyeshadow game…what type of cream base would you recommend?
I highly recommend the NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils or the Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream eyeshadows. They are super inexpensive and work great. Also the Milani Shadow Eyez 24 hr eye pencils.
I have a NYX pencil…I’ll try that. Thanks a bunch!!
No problem!
What color are you using on the top of the eyelid?
DO you have any eyebrow products post or videos?
I’m sorry I can’t remember what I used it was so long ago.
I do have posts for Eyebrow products under reviews, also I show how I do my eyebrows in my last two makeup tutorial videos.
