Spring 2012 Wet n Wild MegaShield Lip Color SPF 15 Salsa Lessons Swatches & Review

Wet n Wild Salsa Lessons is a bright orange red creme. The texture is between that of a balm and a gloss with the pigmentation of a lipstick.

I’ve had this lipstick sitting around for about two months, hidden under other products to review. It was on sale for $1.99 and had a $1.00 off sticker making it $.99. Since it was new I figured why not test it out. Totally forgot about it but glad that I found it. It’s pretty cool.

Wet n Wild Salsa Lessons is a bright orange red creme. The texture is between that of a balm and a gloss with the pigmentation of a lipstick. It lasts a few hrs without fading, but you do need to touch it up after a meal. It is very moisturizing like a balm and the addition of spf is a big bonus, perfect for Summer. I do have to mention that the packaging sucks though. The drug label was hard to remove and left glue all over the tube. I had to scrub the whole thing with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol to get the glue off. Very annoying. Maybe they should put the sticker on top of the regular plastic protector to avoid glue getting on the tube, that is my only complaint.

The Wet n Wild MegaShield Lip Colors come in 13 shades and is formulated with Vitamin E, Amino Acids, Avocado Oil, and Rice Bran Oil to moisturize and condition lips for silky, soft comfort. It also contains SPF 15 to protect lips from harmful UVB Rays. Retails for $2.99 each and can be purchased at your local drugstore that carries Wet n Wild Products.
