I gave up my glitter addiction back in high school but I now have a new found love for glitter and I have Lit Cosmetics to blame! Lit Cosmetics glitters come in four different sizes, four different textures and a ton of shades from glow in the dark neons to bold metallics. You are bound to find something to suit your taste. I picked up Champagne Wishes, Cher and Soul Sister.
The glitters are applied with Lit’s Clearly Liquid Glitter Base which is made with all natural ingredients, water based, alcohol free, paraben free, and Propylene Glycol free. It is also hypo allergenic and easy to remove, which is a big plus. Kudos to them.
The pink puff you see is the Sparkle Duster which is used to remove fallout glitter. How cute!
Champagne Wishes is a fusion reminding me of crushed gold and pearls… a mix of gold and pearly white glitter, with lilac and green reflects. Solid in texture, it is a pure glitter color and at size 2 the glitter is cut small and is just barely chunky.
Cher is a silver glitter with blue, green, purple and orange reflects. It is also solid in texture and size 2.
Soul Sister is a mixture of black and old gold/bronze glitter with green reflects. Shimmer in texture, it has see through iridescent sparkles with a touch of color. At size 3, the glitter is medium cut and chunky in texture. This is my favorite of the three!

Lit Glitters and liquid base are safe to use on the eyes and the rest of the body without being irritating. The liquid base dries fast and does a great job of keeping the glitter in place. You can’t apply it too thick though or they will get lumpy and crack. The glitters that I have are opaque enough to wear alone, but a colored base would make them pop more.
Each individual shade of glitter retails for $12.95 each. The Clearly Liquid Glitter Base retails for $22.95 for a 30ml bottle. Lit also has a selection of different kits which ranges from $36-$89 and I highly suggest purchasing a kit instead of the products individually as the kits are more cost effective. I picked up the Lit Intense Eye and Body Glitter Kit from The Makeup Show NYC. It included 2 shades of glitter, a 30ml bottle of Clearly Liquid Glitter Base, a smaller bottle of the liquid base in a waterproof formula, and a sparkle duster all for $30. Oh, and did I mention that the jars are stackable..
