Sleek Molten Metal Metallic Eyeshadow Duo consists of a pair of highly pigmented metallic cream eyeshadows, Pewter (left) & Gold Leaf (right). From the appearance and description, I am assuming that they should be comparable to the more expensive, Illamasqua Liquid Metal eyeshadows. However, I can not compare the two as I do not own any Illamasqua Liquid Metal eyeshadows.
Anyway, the duo comes in a small compact, fitting in the palm of my hand. The compact also contains a mirror, which is a plus. The eyeshadows are very creamy and glide on smooth. Now onto the swatches…
On my skin, both shades appear to be the same exact color. I will have to wait and see until I actually wear the eyeshadows and see if I can see a difference in color on my eyes. As an initial test, I walked around with the swatches on my hand for a while, and then I ran my fingers through them to see if they would smudge…
As I thought they would, they did. With a creamy eyeshadow like this you will surely need a good primer to prevent smudging and for longevity in wear. I also suggest wearing a powder eyeshadow in a similar shade on top or using a setting powder. I really like the Sleek Molten Metal Metallic Eyeshadow Duo. The colors are very pretty and perfect for Summer, and metallic shades look lovely on brown skin, especially with a tan. I will be doing a FOTD with this duo soon to test the wear and give my final opinion.
The Sleek Molten Metal Metallic Eyeshadow Duo retails for $10.50 USD and can be purchased at Superdrug or at www.sleekmakeup.com.

Personally, I’m not really into metals, but at the same token these cream shadows looks good. I look forward to seeing your FOTD with it =)
I love metallic looks with dark liner. It really brightens the eyes. FOTD soon 🙂
Thanks for that. I’ve been looking for metallic shadow to play around with. Just want to clarify, is it made in Italy or Germany?
