I purchased the E.L.F. Mineral Infused Face Primer months ago and never got around to using it since I’ve been loving my VS primer. I’ve been taking it for a test run the past few days and I have to say, so far so good.
The Claim…
Transform your face into a flawless and smooth canvas with the Mineral Infused Face Primer. Developed to combat against excess oil, flaky dryness, enlarged pores and fine lines. This clear multipurpose skin primer will prepare your skin so makeup goes on evenly for a long lasting satin finish.
First of all, I really like the look of the packaging. Not too fancy, nice and simple with a pump. A pump is always important to me as you can dispense just the right amount of product easily, and it is more sanitary then having to dip your fingers in something. A lot of people have been complaining about the pump breaking but I haven’t experienced this… at least not yet.
The primer is clear with a light-weight, gel like consistency. It is not greasy at all but still a bit slippery due to the silicones. Keep this in mind if your your skin is sensitive to the “cones”. It leaves the skin smooth as a baby’s bottom making a nice canvas for makeup application.
Overall, I really like this primer. My makeup applies flawless, wears well and looks good with it. I am very oily in the t-zone and the E.L.F. Primer really does keep the oil at bay. No matter what I use my nose still tends to get a bit shiny and needs blotting, and this is still the case with this primer. However, that is just my nose lol. Other than that no issues over here, I would definitely repurchase.
The E.L.F. Mineral Infused Face Primer may be purchased at www.eyeslipsface.com or in your local Target. It retails for $6 but E.L.F. always has some kind of online promo going on so you can usually purchase it for much cheaper.

Of course u post after I place my order!!!
You inspired me to start posting the reviews of my ELF products lol. Trust you will be eventually making another order so I should have more reviews up before you do 🙂
Thx! Running out of Smashbox and need a much cheaper alternative. Placing my order soon.
Let me know how you like it!
I was going to purchase this the other month but didn’t see much reviews. Instead I put an oversea’s order for the VS primer due to your huge rave. Yet sometimes with ELF products I’ve noticed they put some ingredients that are not so great for skin.
sounds like a really nice primer for a budget price! I wanna give it a go too! xoxo
I actually have this, and love it. My pump stop working after about the third or fourth time using it.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I will when I make my next purchase.
I tried this primer as well, and I really like it. It is hard to believe it is just six dollars.
