Wet ‘n Wild Megalast Lipsticks Swatches and Review

Wet 'n Wild Megalast lipsticks apply smooth and creamy, doesn't dry out your lips & dries down to a semi-matte satin finish. I depotted mine.

Wet ‘n Wild has been rocking the blogosphere and beauty world as of late with such vast improvements of their products. I started out as a Wet ‘n Wild girl and I have to say they came a long way. Some of my everyday staples such as my brow kit and creme eyeliner are from the brand. One of my favorite products has to be the Wet ‘n Wild Megalast Lipsticks. I have a few in my personal collection and even more in my MUA Kit. For my kit, I melted them down and made palettes out of pill cases (911D is included in another palette).

The shades are labeled by number, however the shade names are on the external plastic wrapper so you need to peep it before you tear it off. They are super pigmented and true to tube color.

Wet ‘n Wild Megalast lipsticks apply smooth and creamy, does not dry out your lips and dries down to a semi-matte satin finish. They wear well for a few hours and I find that I don’t really need to touch up unless I eat or drink. For $2.99 USD a pop you can definitely splurge on all shades. Wet ‘n Wild is also a drugstore brand so there are frequent BOGO deals *hint*. Quality surely surpasses price in this case though. Trust.

Stoplight Red and Ravin’ Raisin are my faves and I have both in my personal collection as well. I plan to get a few more.

Do you own any Wet ‘n Wild Megalast Lipcolors? What is your favorite shade?

*I have since repotted these into stackable jars. I find it easier to reorganize my shades when I add more, and more compact for storage in my kit.

    1. Lipstick palettes are really cool for organizing your lipsticks, definitely when you are an MUA. Stoplight Red is gorgeous, it is THE red! 🙂

  1. Pretty! What do you find is the best way to melt down the lipsticks?? I'd love to see a picture tutorial or something.

    1. I actually use the microwave in 10 second intervals and mix them with a mini mixing spatula. I then let them cool down to room temperature and place them in the fridge over night to firm up. I will do a tutorial when I make my next palette.

  2. love this…what a smart idea with the pill cases. Those colors are gorgeous…I love me some Wet n Wild

  3. Love these! I actually came across them a few months back while killing time in the pharmacy. Prior to this, I was desperately seeking a matte lipstick that would not dry out my lips. Of course I tore the color names off, but I have 911D, 906D, 916D, & 905D. I must say that I love 911D, Spotlight Red. Waiting 2 catch the brand on sale 2 play around with a few more items.
