MAC Wonder Woman Spitfire Lipstick Swatches & Review

As mentioned in my review of  Golden Lariat MSF, I also picked up Spitfire Lipstick…

Spitfire is a Magenta or purplish-pink lipstick with a satin finish. It is very pigmented with  a few swipes, even with a lip balm underneath and glides on smooth. It is not very moisturizing but is it is definitely not drying either.

It is said that Spitfire is very similar to MAC Petals & Peacocks from the Liberty of London Collection. I don’t have Petals & Peacocks but it is supposed to be very similar to MAC Girl About Town lipstick, so I did a comparison of Spitfire, Girl About Town and another similar shade, Wet ‘n Wild Megalast in Ravin’ Raisin…

The three are very similar but different enough to own all three in my opinion. I love lippies in this color family  however if they have blue undertones, sometimes it’s hard to pull off when you are a brown skinned beauty with warm undertones like myself. The ultimate test was to actually put it on…

Please excuse my end of the day puffy eyes

Must have for the Brown skin beauties if you don’t already have something similar in your collection, but Spitfire will work well on any complexion. Spitfire is a winner in my book and best of all, hot pink lips will be big this Spring so get it! The Wonder Woman Collection is available on www.maccosmetics.com and will be in stores (USA) on February 10th.
