So I broke my makeup ban and picked up a few things from the new MAC Wonder Woman Collection… but I was good and only purchased two items, Golden Lariat Mineralize Skinfinish and Spitfire Lipstick.
Golden Lariat is a tri-colored MSF with shades that may be used as a highlighter, blusher and bronzer. It is twice the size of a regular sized MSF at .70 oz compared to .35 oz. The pan is large enough to easily use each shade separately, and the shades can also be combined to create one. MSF’s are baked so they may be used wet without damage.
I mixed all of the shades together when trying it out and it gives the skin a gorgeous glow, really lights up the face…
Golden Lariat creates a gorgeous glow for the brown skin beauties and will look beautiful in the Summer with a tan. For the fair skinned beauties, you can also rock it but you must use an extremely light hand. You have to be very careful as it can give you a “muddy look” if you use too much.
Overall I am very pleased with Golden Lariat. It doesn’t give off a lot of pigmentation, however it gives a gorgeous glow. The pan is huge with three different shade choices and will last forever… well almost, if you have a huge collection like I do. You really get a bang for your buck. On that note, Golden Lariat retails for $35 and can be purchased now at www.maccosmetics.com and is due to be released February 10th in stores (USA).
What are you lemming from the MAC Wonder Woman Collection?

You look amazing!!! I am planning to purchase the MSFs when the collection comes out next week. I was so tempted to get it online but I want to see it in person first.
Thanks Vixxan. I can\’t wait to see what you pick up! I hope all is well, have a great weekend 🙂
what color is on your lips/
I am wearing Ever Hip l/s and Perennial High Style l/g, both from MAC Liberty of London Collection
Golden Lariat really does give you a nice golden glow. I was thinking about getting Spitfire, but saw swatches that it might be too similar to Petals & Peacocks…guess I'll have to see them in person.
I don’t have Petals and Peacocks but I know it has been compared to Girl About Town, and GAT is definitely brighter than Spitfire. I did comparison swatches, the post will be up this weekend 🙂
You're super pretty! <3
This MSF reminds me of my Warm Blend MSF so I'll pass! 🙂

Yes, get it girl lol. Save up now, you will be fine 🙂
people really went crazy over these wonderwoman minerilzed skinfinshes, but if you think about it you only need one that will suit your skib tone, searching on youtube i found most reviews of golden lairat , done by the darker skin tone, it suits black warm peanut colour skin tones more. its not for light skin because golden lairat can make you look like a orange face. so people think bout your skin colour i understand all the hype and these huge compacts impress’s a person, but most pple hav brought 2 compacts i dont get why.. but i did also here they suit all skin tones, i disagree on that one.
I feel lighter complexions can still use it, just with a light hand as you are right, it can look orangey. It does look great on dark skin tones, the separate shades alone or all 3 mixed together. I don’t feel the need to buy two because one is more than enough for one person, even an MUA kit. This reminds me that I need to use mine more! lol
