Top Ten Favorite Beauty Products of 2010

Here is a list of my Top Ten Favorite Beauty Products of 2010 which are still being heavily used in the New Year.

I’ve found some pretty amazing products last year, a few of which I find myself reaching for all of the time… and a few that has made it into my daily rotation. Here is a list of my Top Ten Favorite Beauty Products of 2010 which are still being heavily used in the New Year. It’s a great feeling to purchase products that you grow to love and use often, definitely when you’re an impulsive shopper like myself.

Clarisonic MIA

The Clarisonic MIA is the best thing that could have happened to my skin. My skin is super smooth and soft, and my complexion has not been this even in years.  I purchased mine in pink to support Breast Cancer Research.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation

Revlon ColorStay Foundation in Cappuccino is my go to foundation for every day wear. All I need is a small amount and it gives great even coverage. It also looks natural and is very light on the skin.

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

This is THEE Holy Grail Top Coat. Leaves my nails super shiny, keeps my manicure from chipping, and allows me to do my nails right before bed without any accidents. It doesn’t get any better than that.

NARS Albatross Blush

I use NARS Albatross Blush almost every single day to highlight my cheekbones. It gives my skin the perfect glow without making me look like a disco ball. It also photographs beautifully.

Wet ‘n Wild Ultimate Brow Kit

I use the Wet n’ Wild Ultimate Brow Kit in Ash every single day to define my brows. The lighter shade is too light for me, but the darker shade is perfect and the wax holds well.

VS Pro Airbrush FX Face Primer SPF20

I have used this primer every single day since purchasing it. It sinks in well and leaves a super smooth canvas for makeup application. I have also noticed less break outs since using this primer before applying my makeup.

Sleek MakeUp Contour Kit

sleek contour

The Sleek MakeUp Contour Kit in Dark is perfect for my complexion. The contour powder gives my cheekbones a natural contour without looking fake, and the highlight powder gives a gorgeous glow. The shades compliment each other very well.

MAC Raizin Blush

MAC Raizin is a gorgeous neutral blush for the dark skinned beauties. I wear this to work at least 3 days out of the week… and when I can’t figure out what blush to use for a look, Raizin always does the trick.

ORS Olive Oil Edge Control

Perfect for taming the edges and with my short cut, it has been a godsend for taming my nape along with Elasta QP Glaze.

Smith’s Rosebud Salve

Smith’s Rosebud Salve is nothing new to me as I’ve been using it for a few years now, however I absolutely love the fact that it now comes in a tube… More hygienic and easier to apply!

Are you familiar with any of these products? What were some of your favorite beauty products in 2010?

  1. I've been eyeing buying myself a Clarisonic, I keep reading more and more positive reviews on it.
    – Love the fact you bought it in pink to support breast cancer research xo

I like my Revlon ColorStay… I just don't like the smell and I found sometimes when I wear it, it can break me out
but it looks good pre-break out lol

YES SECHE VITE. Amen, with you on that one all the way.

If only we got VS products over here. I shall keep my eye on ebay

I keep meaning to buy the contour kit, but I'm trying to hold out on buying things that are permanent – saving the pennies.

My recent post Mini Blog Sale

    1. Definitely pick up a Clarisonic if you can. It is a skin lifesaver! I feel you on saving pennies. I need to ban myself again as I have too many unused products. I actually did good in the 3rd qtr of 2010 and only bought products for my kit 🙂
