Polish Pick: American Apparel Army Jacket

American Apparel Army Jacket Nail Lacquer reminds me of split pea soup. But not in a gross kind of way. It's the type of color you didn't know you needed.

American Apparel Army Jacket, one of the latest shades to hit the shelves, is a… well Army Green Creme. Reminds me of split pea soup but not in a gross kind of way. This was my first time purchasing American Apparel nail lacquers and I was kind of wary as they looked old, like they had been on the rack for years. I had to shake it for a few minutes to get it to the correct consistency. I went out on a whim and picked up Cameo Blue which is also new, Manila and Army Jacket.

I didn’t really have any application issues. It applied smooth over my Orly Bonder base coat and only took two coats. Without a top coat, the finish is a bit dull but nothing that a glossy top coat like Seche Vite can’t handle. I really like the shade. It fits in perfectly with the military trend going on these days.

Have you tried American Apparel Nail Lacquers?
