Everything Pink in my Beauty Collection… Pink Tribute in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women in the United States. October is National Breast cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to increasing awareness of the importance of early Breast cancer detection. This illness hits close to home for many of us. My Great-Grandmother is a Breast Cancer Survivor and has been in remission for about 5 years. I am blessed and grateful to have my Great- Grandmother here today because it was detected early. With early detection and treatment, there can be more survivors in the battle against Breast cancer.Β To kick off my posts dedicated to Breast cancer Awareness Month, I’d like to do a Pink Tribute featuring everything Pink in my beauty collection.

Lipstick

Lipgloss

Blush

Eyeshadow

Nail Polish

I forgot to include NYX l/s in Thalia, MAC Marine Life Highlight Powder, MAC MSF in Stereo Rose & my pink Clarisonic Mia.

The most common signs of breast cancer are a lump in the breast, abnormal thickening of the breast or a change in color or shape. You should perform a self breast exam at least once a month and report any abnormal findings to your health care provider. If you are 40 and over, you should regularly be getting a mammogram. Although breast cancer affects predominately women, men can also develop this illness so fellas pay attention to changes in your breast area as well. I am tagging all Beauty Bloggers to also post your Pink Beauty Collection in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Thanks Chrissy for the idea to make this a tag!

  1. What a lovely idea! Would be great to do this as a tag to spread the word. I love that beauty bloggers are getting together and making everyone aware.

  2. Hi Erica,

This is such a wonderful tribute from beauty bloggers. Our mom is also a breast cancer survivor – she was diagnosed in 2007 and is now cancer-free after a year of chemotherapy and recovery.

We will dedicate an entry soon, and mention your idea!

    Thank you,
