MAC Viva Glam Gaga & Cyndi Lipglass: Swatches & Review

Gaga & Cyndi are back again, lipglass edition! I love my MAC Viva Glam Gaga & Cyndi lipsticks and I wear them frequently. So I was ecstatic to find out that MAC would be coming out with lipglass versions. They were officially released in the U.S. today so I ran to my nearest MAC counter to pick them up. Check them out…

I love Gaga & Cyndi in lipglass form just as much or maybe even more than the lipstick version. They are very buildable and you can wear them applied lightly for a sheer look or packed on opaque for more color. You have to be careful when applying though as they can look a bit streaky.

Gaga lipglass is a blue based light barbie pink just like the lipstick. I feel the lipglass version is a little more wearable for us brownskin beauties as it doesn’t give that dry, hungry look like the lipstick. I never wear the lipstick without a gloss on top, usually Starnova lustreglass. Well now I can wear Gaga lipglass over my Gaga lipstick.

Cyndi is a bright coral red. It has a bit more orange in it than the Cyndi lipglass but it is still gorgeous. By itself or over Cyndi lipstick, Cyndi will be universally flattering.

MAC Viva Glam Gaga & Cyndi lipglasses will be available for 6 months until February 2011 and the lipsticks are currently still available,until February 2011 as well. Both retail for $14.50 USD each and all profits are donated to the MAC AIDS Fund.
