Summer is winding down and Fall is right around the corner. I’m a Fall baby and it is my favorite time of year. Not too cold, allowing you to get away with blazers and layering. Yet, cool enough to pull out the boots. This year some of the seasons trends are repeats from past seasons, Animal Prints and Military Style. You may be able to reach into your closet and pull out a few pieces. If not, here are a few items that I found to be intriguing…

Animal Prints

I love animal prints especially paired with all black or red. The easiest way to add animal prints to your wardrobe is by adding an accessory or two. A nice pair of shoes or a scarf will do. A word of caution, animal prints from head to toe isn’t fashionable nor cute. Neither is wearing too many pieces or prints at once.

Military Style

Military Style is another one of my favorite trends. I love blazers, and military-inspired structured blazers with lots of  hardware are no exception. Funky boots leave another great option to incorporate this trend into your wardrobe. Not really into the Military Style? No fear, if you like watches a nice chronographic one will do and you’re still in line with the trend… or maybe a nice cap if hats are your thing.

What pieces are you planning to add to your wardrobe this coming season in alignment with the reported trends?

  1. I absolutely LOVE animal print! I just like to accessorize w/ it though. I recently picked up a couple of scarves. Of course, I have a couple of pairs of earrings in my arsenal. Just love it! I love the round brass buttons on suit jackets & booties I've been seeing! Too cute!
