The following review was provided by Bree of I’m So Hollywood. Thanks Bree!
Since I will be heading to the “Sunshine State” tomorrow, I decided to brighten my mood further by trying Avon’s Nailwear Pro Enamel in Sunshine. For $2.99 (plus shipping and handling), why not just go for the bold?
The product write up on Avon.com:
- Up to 10-day wear (*With normal touch-ups)
- High gloss shine
- Salon-quality precision brush
- Advanced formula with acrylic for strong nails
- No formaldehyde, toluene or phthalates
- 4 fl. oz

Sunshine is what I would call the “perfect shade” of a true yellow. Appropriately named, it is the definition of what the color “sunshine” should be. It gives you a nice, opaque first coat, but you really want to apply that second coat — just to give this beauty the proper finishing touch it deserves. It seems to be “a drop” lighter than Zoya Pippa, but the pricing between the two products are comparable (Avon $3 vs. Zoya $7).
As noted by Mz. More in the Zoya Pippa Review, when you wear this color you will definitely gain attention… so be prepared! 🙂
Note: As with most polishes, if you go to the beach, the color may chip or peel. Sunshine chipped 4 days after application (I’m 90% sure it was due to the beach water and sand).
