Project 10 Pan? I can do that, and some!

Well sort of lol. I have been secretly working on a total beauty Project 10 Pan for the last couple of months. Total Beauty meaning makeup and skincare items. I must admit that my first time was a fail. Although I was able to finish up 15 products, I did not cease buying new products. I am still proud that I was actually able to use up some stuff as I do not finish products often. For those who may not know what Project 10 Pan is, the concept is to use up or hit pan on 10 makeup items in order to purchase 1 new makeup item. So let me show you what I used up…
  1. MAC Cleanse Off Oil
  2. Lush Tea Tree Water
  3. Lush Brazened Honey Mask
  4. L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
  5. MAC Zoom Fast Black Lash Mascara
  6. MAC Plush Lash Mascara
  7. (2) MAC brow pencils in Stud
  8. MAC lipstick in O
  9. MAC lipglass in Queen Bee
  10. MAC lipglass in Buzz
  11. MAC lipglass in Fierce and Fabulous
  12. NYX round lip gloss in Golden Prune
  13. Maybelline XXL Mascara
  14. MAC Studio Finish Powder Plus Foundation

Also shown are 2 empty MAC shadow pots (Electric Eel and Hot Hot Hot) which do not count because I depotted, not used up…but that gave me 12 empties for Back to MAC. Yay!! So I went to MAC to trade in my 12 empties. Here is what I picked up…

I traded my empties in for two lipsticks, O and Girl About Town. O is one of my favorite MAC lipsticks, I think this is my 4th tube. Anyway, I keep my MAC eyeshadows in quads. If you remember, I purchased Hot Hot Hot from the Spring Colour Forecast Collection and she was all lonely by herself. So I decided to create a quad so that she may have company, and therefore I also picked up eyeshadows in Soft Brown, Amber Lights and Cranberry. Here is my new quad, I now have a total of 5…
And the lippies…
Now as you can clearly see, I cheated again. I purchased 3 new makeup items instead of one. So like I said my first attempt at Project 10 Pan was a fail. After looking at my collection closely, I realized that I have more than enough makeup. Actually too much. That being said, I will be attempting Project 10 Pan again but this time I will follow the rules. However, that will have to be after the release of the MAC Give Me Liberty of London Collection 🙂
Have any of you guys attempted or completed Project 10 Pan? How did you manage?

When I’m not hunting down the latest and greatest beauty products, beating a face or lacing a do, you can find me roaming the streets of NYC in my stilettos looking for the next best restaurant. Or in the kitchen trying to outdo myself from the last time.
