February Faves

This is my first time doing a monthly favorites post. I will try to keep this type of post going on a monthly basis, as long as I gain enough new favorites for the month. Maybe this will encourage me to shop my stash and try different products instead of using what I grab all of the time. Anyway, on to my favorite products for the month of February…

Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion
Very lightweight, non-greasy and moisturizing. It has been a lifesaver for my face as it gets very dry in the Winter months. You can see my review along with a giveaway for this lotion here.
NARS Orgasm Illuminator
The more I use this, the more I love it. It gives such a nice glow. I like the fact that it is a liquid highlighter as it is moisturizing and doesn’t dry out or exacerbate my dry Winter skin. This is my go to product on days when I’m feeling washed out. I’ll use this with a nice rose or plum toned blush. It really brightens my face. You can see my review for this highlighter here.
Revlon Photo Ready Makeup
I am really digging this foundation. It is lightweight, blends well and gives a natural finish. It really does photograph well too.You can see my review for this foundation here.
Queen Helene Oatmeal ‘n Honey Natural Face Scrub
This scrub is amazing! It is gentle enough to use everyday and moisturizing as well. It leaves my face feeling very clean and smooth. It smells deelish as well. A review for this product is coming soon.
L’Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara
I wore this mascara almost everyday for the entire month. I really like it. It has a primer on one end and the mascara is on the other end. It makes my lashes look really long and full and it is very easy to remove with water. Review coming soon.
Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eye Pen
This is another product that I have been using almost everyday this month. Since I hadn’t used liquid liner in a while, I had a hard time at first.  Now that I’ve gotten used to using it, I love this pen. Very pigmented and easy to apply. Perfect for winged liner. You can see my review for this liner here
L’Oreal Magic Perfecting Base Primer
This is my first experience with a primer and the experience has been very good. It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and both liquid and powder foundation apply very well. It also leaves me matte all day. Very good primer. You can see my review for this primer here.
MAC Blush Ombre’ in Ripe Peach
This blush is very pretty. A beautiful coral toned peach. Love it!

Korres Plum Lip Butter

This is my first Korres lip butter and I can not wait to pick up some more. It is very moisturizing and leaves a beautiful berry tint. It is also made with natural ingredients. It is supposed to work well as a blush also, but i haven’t tried yet. Review coming soon!

So there you have it folks, my February faves. What has been your favorite products for the month?

When I’m not hunting down the latest and greatest beauty products, beating a face or lacing a do, you can find me roaming the streets of NYC in my stilettos looking for the next best restaurant. Or in the kitchen trying to outdo myself from the last time.
