As promised, here is a close up of my New Years Eve makeup look with a tutorial. A dramatic smokey eye using my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, and a bold lip. The only thing I did differently is use strip lashes, in the original look I wore individuals.
Urban Decay has set the beauty world on a frenzy once again with the release of their Naked 2 Palette, the sequel to the Naked Palette which beauty enthusiasts are still raving over, myself included. When I saw the previews of Naked 2 I thought I'd just pass on it because I have the original Naked Palette, the Sleek Au Naturel Palette and a palette of MAC neutral eyeshadows, but deep down inside I still wanted to get my hands on Naked 2.
This simple nude smokey eye is my favorite look to create with my Urban Decay Naked Palette. Paired with bold lips it's sultry and sexy. Perfect for any occasion... work, play, date night, even girl's night out and right in line with this Fall's Makeup Trends. Easily toned down with a nude lip.
If you haven't heard by now, Urban Decay has finally listened to their customers and put their infamous primer potion in a tube. A professional size tube at that! I purchased a tube for my MUA kit since I was able to get it on sale.
That's with Urban Decay's Naked Palette of course. Get your minds out of the gutter lol. I wanted a new Grown and Sexy look for my upcoming birthday, so I decided to chop my hair off. I love it. I've had my Urban Decay Naked Palette for weeks and hadn't used it yet, so I figured what better time than now to use it to showcase the new do. Check me out...
Now I know all of you beauty product junkies out there like myself have probably heard of Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion (UDPP). It is such a cult favorite that I would be shocked if you didn't. But just in case you haven't... you are totally missing out. I learned about this product about a year and a half ago and have been using it ever since. Definitely Holy Grail status!
