Layla Cosmetics is best known for their variety of awesome nail polish but did you know that the brand has a makeup collection as well? I didn’t. I received a sample of the Layla Pro Eye Primer Perfect Fix in my bag from TMS NYC Blogger Preview and I am really impressed. It works great, makes eyeshadow more vibrant and keeps it on all day!
Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer is a makeup primer, sunscreen and anti-aging skin treatment in one. It’s supposed to smooth away fine lines and brighten and prep skin for flawless makeup application. The formula combines silicones with Soy Protein to even out skin texture and natural minerals to provide a neutral tint to the skin tone to enhance luminosity and radiance. Here is where the problem lies, the “tint’ is not neutral at all.
I’ve been using Urban Decay Primer Potion for years and don’t veer away too much as it works for me and my oily lids. Nonetheless I am always curious of other primers to see how they compare so I was glad to receive the Senna Totally Transforming Primer for review. Unfortunately it’s no match for my super oily lids and I can barely get 7 hrs wear out of it without it creasing. Read on for more pictures and my full review.
This just may be the primer of all primers. Developed for professional makeup artists, Nurturing Force Wellness Aloe Vera Skincare Blot Out Offensive Shine + Oil Control Cream is an instant matte HD primer and barrier cream that moisturizes while controlling oil. With the minimal ingredients and great performance this is definitely perfect to add to your makeup artist kit, it will surely be going into mine!

Milani Eyeshadow Primer claims to intensify and extend the wear of any eyeshadow while minimizing creasing for over 8 hours. Let’s take a closer look.
I’ve been wanting to try the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for like forever but just couldn’t push myself to pay $36 for it, especially since my favorite primer costs less than $6. I was recently gifted a sample size tube and was super excited to finally try it out. I’ve been testing it for the past two weeks.
I’ve always wanted to try Boots products and was super excited when the brand became available in Target stores in the US. After trying a few different products over the past few months I’ve really grown to like Boots a lot. I’m always on the lookout for an inexpensive primer to add to my collection and this one seemed pretty interesting with added benefits.
