Last but not least of the lipsticks from the RiRi Hearts MAC Summer Collection is Heaux. I saved the best for last because it is absolutely gorgeous and the most unique shade in the collection. The name is hilarious at that and I’ve been getting a kick out of telling people what I’m wearing lol. If you had to choose just one then it should be Heaux.
The second installment of the Rihanna Hearts MAC Collection was released on June 18th and boy oh boy was it the talk of the town and quite the mess with the virtual waiting room and cancellation of “early orders”. Despite all of the drama I was able to order RiRi Boy, Heaux and another RiRi Woo. Let’s take a look at RiRi Boy…
I’m a big fan of Do It Yourself lipstick palettes, especially in the form of pans which doesn’t take up too much space and makes it easy to switch the order of shades. I recently moved all of my lipsticks in my MUA Kit to a pan form palette and couldn’t be happier. While creating that palette I also used a Yaby Stackable Set Palette to make a mini palette with some of the shades that I have in my kit but not in my personal collection . It’s so cute and fits right in the palm of my hand making it easy to throw into my purse and go!
I’m in the process of revamping my MUA Kit to condense it into smaller storage and was looking for a new way to store my lipsticks. While at The Makeup Show NYC I stopped at the Z Palette booth and saw the large palette and empty pans and figured that this would be perfect. Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics will be releasing three new products on June 1st as a part of their Summer 2013 Collection, one being a new lipstick in Dragon Fruit along with a Mighty Shine Lip Gel in New Flaunt and Maxim Eyes Eyelash Restorative Serum. Dragon Fruit is a sheer bright pink with a slight coral undertone. Read on for more photos, swatches and to see how it looks on.
MAC’s RiRi Woo Lipstick, the first installment from the RiRi Hearts MAC Collection is finally here and has the internet buzzing but it’s not all good buzz. When creating RiRi Woo, Rihanna was inspired by Ruby Woo which is her favorite red lipstick from MAC and wanted to create a red that would look good on all skin tones. A lot of people seem to feel that the lipstick fell short of their expectations. Continue reading to see my thoughts..
Sleek MakeUp never ceases to amaze me with their low cost, high performing products. The latest product in the line up, The Lip4 Palettes, are six purse sized lip palettes that contain four extremely pigmented shades in three finishes matte, gloss and satin. I was sent three of the palettes to review Havana, Show Girl & Siren. Check them out.
