If I could only have one lipstick from MAC for the Spring & Summer seasons it would have to be Vegas Volt, a full on bright and in your face pinky Coral. I love it. I’ve wanted to try it for the last two years but have to admit that I was a bit afraid of it, I thought it was too bright. I finally picked it up a few weeks ago using some empties for Back 2 MAC, and now I have to force myself to take a break. I could wear it everyday! 04.30.2012

I love it when I find a drugstore foundation that matches my skintone almost perfectly, a rare occassion. I must admit though that I’ve been having some good luck lately. The Milani Multitasker Face Powder is a a matte face powder with light to medium coverage, and can be built up without giving you “cake face.” It can be used to set your liquid foundation, to control oil and shine, or used alone over a concealer or tinted moisturizer for a natural looking coverage. For reference I am generally a NW45 in MAC and a Cappuccino in Revlon PhotoReady Foundation. The Milani Multitasker Face Powder in Chestnut is almost a perfect match for me. 04.05.2012
Anyone can wear Taos. Yup, I said it. ANYONE. From the darkest to the lightest, warm, cool or neutral undertones… You can pull it off. It’s definitely universally flattering. A must have for the brown skinned beauties. Don’t ask questions just go get it, you won’t regret it! 04.03.2012
Ok, so I gave in to all of the Hunger Games hype and decided to read the books a week before the movie came out, and I must admit that I am hooked. Boy oh boy do I love me some Sleek blush. They are super pigmented, buttery smooth and best of all totally inexpensive. Hard to get all of those qualities in one package. If you love Sleek blush or any blush for that matter as much as I do then you must be excited about Sleek’s new Blush By 3. 01.13.2012
I was so mad that I missed out on Afrobella’s lipglass for the MAC Bloggers Obsession Collection, All of My Purple Life. I told myself that I didn’t need it or anything else in the collection. Silly me. This color combination gave me the closest dupe that I’ve seen so far for All of My Purple Life. |
