I recently stopped in American Apparel to do some browsing and ran into the lipgloss display. The only color that stood out to me was African Violet, a creamy purple. I love me a purple lippie so I just had to pick it up.

(no flash) 1 coat Orly Bonder Base Coat, 2 coats Cameo Blue, 1 coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat Cameo Blue, another new release, is a dusty cornflower blue creme. It looks royal blue in the first two pics with the flash, but the last pic without the flash is a more accurate depiction of the shade. Gorgeous. American Apparel Army Jacket, one of the latest shades to hit the shelves, is a… well Army Green Creme. Reminds me of split pea soup but not in a gross kind of way. This was my first time purchasing American Apparel nail lacquers and I was kind of wary as they looked old, like they had been on the rack for years.
