MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural is my second love from MAC right behind the Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. At one point I didn’t wear anything else on my face except for this with a bit of concealer to cover spots for like a year. I’ve since gone through numerous foundations but always come back to my MSFN to pay a visit. I love the gorgeous glow that it gives my skin in the Summer and like to use it throughout the Fall and Winter to mimic that glow.
“Milani Roses Powder Blush Romantic Rose” Milani recently released the Roses Powder Blush Collection which is limited edition for the month of August. The collection consists of four shades of blush in rose hues Warm Petals, Flora Passion, Bella Rose and Romantic Rose which are simply beautiful in their 3D packaging. I was sent Romantic Rose for review, a cool toned matte rose pink.
MAC Studio Finish Concealer was my first concealer ever. Primarily I purchased it because of the many great reviews and since it was full coverage I figured it would be great for covering my spots, anything that my foundation had missed. I’ve since found a few other ways to use it. Read on to find out how I use this concealer and what I find to be the best uses
Black Opal’s Even True Line is a tone renewing collection with a skin brightening formula to help correct, treat, hydrate, rejuvenate and protect skin while restoring luminosity. The Even True Flawless Skin Liquid Makeup is a skin brightening foundation that is supposed to conceal discolorations, blemishes and imperfections for a flawless finish. It’s oil free, fragrance free, paraben free and hypoallergenic. Let me tell you that this foundation is pretty awesome!
Dermalogica Skinperfect Primer is a makeup primer, sunscreen and anti-aging skin treatment in one. It’s supposed to smooth away fine lines and brighten and prep skin for flawless makeup application. The formula combines silicones with Soy Protein to even out skin texture and natural minerals to provide a neutral tint to the skin tone to enhance luminosity and radiance. Here is where the problem lies, the “tint’ is not neutral at all.
No your eyes are not deceiving you, yes this is a blush. A blush in the form of a cool looking silver pen that looks more like a writing tool or maybe a laser beam pen. I have to give kudos to Ellis Faas on the packaging in which most of her products are housed in, it’s truly unique and I love it. Soft Bronze as the name implies is a soft bronze with slight golden shimmer. The lightweight gel is semi sheer in pigmentation but can be built up when layered making it perfect to use like a bronzer. It gives the cheeks a beautiful bronze glow. Check it out…
Where the heck have I been not trying out this blush sooner?! Jordana has released 12 new shades of their powder blush and I was sent over 6 to review. OMG I’m telling you these just may be the best from the drugstore. Extremely pigmented, blends well and lasts all day. Best of all they are less than $3 a pop.
