I Tried Golden Milk On My Natural Hair

My Black Is Beautiful Golden Milk Collection Type 4 Hair

Golden Milk is a traditional Indian drink that has strong immune-boosting, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. I’ve been hearing so many good things about the blend of coconut milk, turmeric and other spices. So I’ve had it on my To Try List for a while now. I still haven’t actually tried the drink. But I did try the new My Black Is Beautiful Golden Milk Collection on my hair.

My Black Is Beautiful Golden Milk Collection Review

The My Black Is Beautiful Golden Milk Collection is a line of natural hair care products inspired & designed by the unique hair types in the black community. The collection is formulated with a blend of turmeric, honey, coconut and ginger to help nourish, moisturize & refresh coily hair.

Hydrating Shampoo – cleans without stripping, while moisturizing and strengthening hair.

Fortifying Conditioner – moisturizes, softens and detangles hair while improving elasticity.

Intense Recovery Treatment – deep penetrating mask smooths, replenishes, repairs and restores moisture.

Tangle Slayer Conditioning Cream Type 3 – increases slip for easier detangling, while smoothing and elongating curls.

Tangle Slayer Conditioning Cream Type 4 – locks in moisture to make hair easier to manage, resulting in softer, frizz-free coils.

MBIB Golden Milk Collection 4C Hair

I washed my hair with the Golden Milk Hydrating Shampoo. Detangled & conditioned with the Fortifying Conditioner. Then gave myself a deep treatment with the Intense Recovery Treatment. Next I used the Tangle Slayer Deep Conditioner Cream for Type 4 hair as a leave in conditioner, and styled my hair with gel. The result was soft, bouncy, highly defined coils. Yasssss to the MBIB Golden Milk Collection!

Did you use the SPONGE to get those tiny curls? Your hair looks wonderful.
