This is a sponsored post for Upbra. However, all opinions are my own.
I remember when my breasts started to become full enough for real bras in Junior High. My Dad took me bra shopping at the outlets. Back then I was so embarrassed to be shopping for bras with my Dad. But he was so proud. I came home with about 15 bras in the exact same style. Three different colors- black, white and peachy nude. You couldn’t tell me nothing the first day that I wore my new bras to school. I wore a fitted t-shirt, and my breast looked so much larger than they did in the training bras. That’s when I learned the power of a good bra.
But then all of my peers breasts continued to grow, yet mine remained the same. The breast that I thought were so large were now tiny compared to other girls my age. That’s when I realized I was on the IBTC. Don’t act like you’ve never heard of the ittie bittie tittie comittee lol. The boys would tease. So did some of the girls. And I used to be jealous of girls with bigger breast. That’s until my shape really started to develop and I realized that I had balance. Hey, I didn’t have the biggest boobs. But I was slim with a tiny waist, a full behind and hips. Built like my Nana. You can’t have it all. So you just learn to love and work with what God gave you.
I’ve been wearing the same size bra since then. Yes, since Junior High School. I’ve also been loving my breast since then. Until I had a baby. My breast grew three cup sizes while I was pregnant with my son. They looked beautiful. But they hurt my back and I wasn’t used to the look. I was actually happy when they went back down to my normal size. But now they weren’t perky anymore. They hung a little lower and needed a boost. That’s when I discovered the power of a good push up bra.
I’ve also discovered how hard it is to find a push up bra that fits small breasts just right. Especially a strapless one. The band is either way too tight or too loose. And the cup is either too big or overly padded. It’s extremely frustrating. But my search is over thanks to Upbra. Upbra uses patented active-lift technology within the cups to help you achieve cleavage without excessive padding.
You simply adjust the inner straps until you achieve the desired cleavage. Start with just a little boost for the daytime. Then adjust the straps to look up to two cup sizes larger for night time. I may love my ittie bitties, but some outfits require this little oomph. A lot of my wardrobe also requires a strapless bra.The Upbra Stay-Up Strapless Bra gives you the boost you need when only strapless will do. It stays in place thanks to specifically formulated vinyl grip that keeps it from falling down. I am extremely happy to have a strapless bra that fits perfectly. Along with the Upbra Convertible Bra that allows me to adjust the straps to be worn with any outfit.
I’m so glad that I’ve found the perfect bra to give me a boost when I need it. Now I’m working on embracing these love handles that seem to have come out of nowhere. As I get older it’s harder to keep my weight in check. I’m working on it. But in the meantime I’ll be looking for some shapewear to smooth everything out. When I need it 😉
By the way, I’ll be sharing my hair and makeup deets later this week. So make sure to come back and check in xo
