REDBOOK Red Box Beauty Blogger Edition

Your girl is a REDBOOK Team Red Contributor so I was selected to receive the REDBOOK Red Box Beauty Blogger Edition. The box has some amazing skin and haircare goodies inside that are perfect for the Fall season. I’m all about taking great care of the skin and hair so I’m super excited to share these products with you. They’ve been in heavy rotation in my house for the last few weeks.

REDBOOK Red Box Beauty Blogger Edition

The box included a body wash, hairspray and a hand cream. Let’s take a closer look at each…

Dove Dry Oil Body Wash

Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash

The Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash is infused with Moroccan Argan Oil beads. It’s especially formulated to address dry skin, which is one of women’s biggest skin concerns. Dry skin is unable to retain moisture, making softer, smoother skin more difficult to obtain. The body wash uses NutriumMoisture technology to gently cleanse while maintaining and nourishing the skin’s protective layer. I’m constantly battling extremely dry skin due to a Thyroid Disorder, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. Dove Dry Moisture Body Wash suds up nicely yet cleanses without stripping the skin. As a result, my skin is left feeling extremely soft, smooth and moisturized. Oh, and it smells amazing.

OGX Bamboo Root Booster

OGX Thickening Root Booster

The OGX Thickening Root Booster plumps hair with a fortifying blend of bamboo fibers and soy proteins. As a result, strands are left with voluptuous body and fullness. I spray a little on my roots before hitting them with a blow dryer while lifting with a pick. This gives my hair a little more lift, life, and a voluminous boost. Can we say ‘fro on fleek?!

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream

Skinfix Hand Repair Cream

The Skinfix Hand Repair Cream for dry, cracked and irritated hands is not your average hand cream. The medicinal hand cream is formulated with 1% colloidal oatmeal to target eczema, dermatitis and extreme dryness. In addition, it’s super rich and packed with natural butters, soothing botanicals and emollient oils to calm redness and itching on contact. The cream is free of fragrance, steroids, soy, parabens and phthalates. I gave it to my teenage son to try since he suffers with little dry patches of eczema on his hands. He reported that his hands felt softer and were extremely moisturized after just the first use. He also reported that the eczema patches are improving with continued use, and some are even clearing up. The Skinfix Hand Repair Cream is now a staple in his schoolbag.

Overall, I am happy with the products that I received in my Beauty Blogger Edition REDBOOK Red Box. The products are definitely being put to good use.
