e.l.f. Black Out Has Me Totally Obsessed With Black Lipstick

Although I love a bold lip, black lipstick intimidated me. I thought that it would make me look a little too witch like. That it would look too costumey. When I received e.l.f. Black Out Lipstick in a package from PR as a member of the e.l.f. Beauty Squad, I thought I’d use it for a Halloween Look and put it aside. Little did I know that Black Out would become one of my favorite lipsticks.

e.l.f. Moisturizing Lipsticks are enriched with Shea Butter and vitamins A, C and E to nourish and hydrate the lips. The rich, creamy formula seals in moisture for long-lasting wear and comfort.

e.l.f. Black Out is a true black creme with amazing pigmentation. The lipstick is super creamy and extremely moisturizing. It feels great on the lips, and wears well for hours without bleeding or fading. In fact, it stays put until you have a meal. Then you’ll need to retouch. It performs as well and sometimes better than lipsticks 6x the price.

I love the way Black Out looks on me. It’s a different yet funky look. And it fits in perfectly when I’m wearing all black (which you know is a few times a week if you’ve been following me for a while). I went from being intimidated by black lipstick to falling in love with the look. For some reason it gave me an extra boost of confidence. Probably because I stepped out of my comfort zone and loved the outcome. I’ve been doing that a lot lately and suggest you guys try it as well. You may find a new beauty love too!

Agreed, this is gorgeous on you! I bought CG Katy Perry in Panther & love it. I don’t wear it often, and really only wear it if I’m going out on the town, but it’s (one of) my spirit colors. Maybe I’ll look up this lipstick next time I’m out. You rock this! 🙂

You look fab! So chic & edgy without looking goth. Love it! After your post, I was inspired to try a dark lipstick. I picked up Maybelline’s Loaded Bold in Blackest Berry & to my surprise, I love it. I only wear nude lip colors so this was a major change for me.

Now I never would expected e.l.f to come through like this with the black lipstick. The payoff is amazing, nice sheen, looks moisturising! I don’t think I have a black like it, mine are all quiet matte. x

Right, I was so shocked. I want to try a nice matte black that’s not too drying! xo
