My go to Summer Makeup Look is all about looking like I’m beat to the gawds while still letting my skin shine through. I tend to use extremely lightweight water-based foundations, like the Make Up For Ever Water Blend. Or I skip Foundation altogether and just wear a tinted moisturizer (like I did here.) I also love the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops mixed with primer. It’s too hot to be having cake face, and in the NYC heat & humidity all of that ish starts to melt off. There is nothing more embarrassing. Here is what my face usually looks like in the Summer months.
I quickly did this Summer Makeup Look the other night after deciding to take myself on an impromptu date. I had been sleeping all day and really needed to wash my hair. So I washed it in the shower, applied some conditioner, and threw on a plastic cap to deep condition under a headwrap. If I had to do my hair before I left I would have never gotten out of the house. Wearing a headwrap is a nice way to secretly deep condition your hair when you need to be out and about, while still looking stylish. Thank me later.

This is pretty much my go to Summer Makeup Look every year, I just change up the products a bit. These are my current go to products with the exception of blush and lipstick. I change those up a lot. It isn’t too much different from my all year round look, just lighter on the foundation. I also go heavier on the cheekbone highlight for a gorgeous glow. I’ll try to get a tutorial up for you guys soon.
