La Vie Est Belle

Lancome La Vie Est Belle

La Vie Est Belle or Life Is Beautiful; the choice to live one’s life and fill it with beauty in your own way; to break free from convention and create your own path to happiness. Lancome’s vision of femininity is that it’s a choice embraced by women, not an imposed standard, and the brand has long fostered this conviction and shares it today with all women in La Vie Est Belle- the fragrance of joyful femininity and happiness. The fragrance that makes life more beautiful. La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum is the first ever iris gourmand, a modern interpretation of an oriental fragrance with a twist of gourmand. It entwines the elegance of iris with the strength of patchouli and the sweetness of a gourmand blend for an incredible scent with depth and complexity. I absolutely love the fragrance and the message, it’s truly beautiful.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle

The bottle is inspired by “The Crystal Smile”, a fragrance created in 1949 by Lancome artistic director George Delhomme. La Vie Est Belle’s bottle captures Lancome founder Armand Petitjean’s vision of femininity, represented in the shape of a smile.

Notes
Top Note: The elegance of Iris is the backbone and blossoms from the first to the last note.
Middle Note: The strength of Patchouli gives strength and depth.
Base Note: A sweet gourmand adds a burst of unexpected radiance.

La Vie Est Belle is reminiscent of another favorite of mine- Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, which is also an oriental gourmand. La Vie Est Belle is just a touch sweeter and lingers for much longer.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle

La Vie Est Belle has quickly become my new favorite scent, and go to for the holiday season. It’s strong yet not overbearing, deliciously sweet and long lasting, and all you need is a little bit. I spray it on my wrists and dab it behind my ears, and on my collarbone. The scent lingers all day and it just makes me so happy. La Vie Est Belle has definitely earned a permanent place in my small but growing fragrance collection. It would make the perfect gift for a special beautiful lady in your life, or for yourself to remind you of how beautiful Life really is.

Available at Lancome and Sephora. $25-$198

This is one of my favorite scents. Recently, I ran out and was planning on putting it in my Christmas list. But low and behold, HSN had the gift set on sale for $79. What a steal!

Pretty bottle….can’t wait to get into a Macy’s or Perfumania or something like that to smell it. I am curious about Gucci Bamboo too.
