The Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Limited Edition Primary Pack Lip Tar Set for Summer 2014 features five matte mini lip tars in primary shades that can be mixed to your hearts content. Since I have all of the shades in this pack already except for RX I decided to give you guys a demo of how much fun mixing your own lip shades can be. I subbed my Sleek MakeUp Pount Paint in Peek-A-Bloo for RX since it’s pretty much the same exact shade.

I used a metal palette to mix up the shades. It took a little trial and error at first and I mixed up way too much but then got the hang of it creating enough color for one application. These concentrated lip colors are very pigmented and all you need is a tiny amount. I did on lip swatches of each primary shade alone to show you how they look and then swatches with the colors that I created…

 I’d actually wear all of these shades with the exception of Feathered (YUCK.) I had so much fun playing with mixing colors and will have to pull out my lip tars more often.
