If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook then you already know that I’ve put my braids back in. Between the gym and these strong Spring winds my hair was in a state of emergency and definitely needed a break. This time I did them slightly larger and a tad bit thicker. Took me about 17 hours to put them in.
I love the convenience of box braids. I can spend less time getting ready in the morning and there are so many styling options, especially with long braids.
It’s still a little uncomfortable to put them up but I should be good by next week. I plan to do a post on styling the braids soon. I did them down to the bootay again, here is an idea of the length…
They are too long to get the entire length myself but don’t worry I’ll be bombarding you guys with more pics soon! 🙂 If you would like to try to do your own braids and don’t know where to start you can check out my tutorial here.
By the way I’m wearing MAC Heroine which I don’t wear nearly enough.
