Milani Limited Edition Roses Blush for Spring 2014, Swatches & Review

Milani Limited Edition Roses Blush

Milani will be launching a second collection of the super popular Rose Powder Blushes. You may remember that I received one last year for review and was not too impressed as the shade was too light for my skin. You can see that review here if you missed it. Anyway, this time around Milani went bolder and brighter and the collection does not disappoint. There are four new limited edition shades and I received all of them for review. Brown girls rejoice as this time all of the shades work for us!

Lady Rouge, Love Potion, Coral Cove, Tea Rose (blended out)

The blush features rose petals finely milled into the powder to bring out natural rosy tones. It is very finely milled and therefore powdery and a little dry. When swatched they apply somewhat patchy but blends into the skin easily when applied with a brush. They are pretty sheer but can be built up for more pigmentation. Here I am wearing Lady Rouge…

I picked up Lady Rouge and Love Potion but was skeptical about the other too. Seeing them swatched let’s me know that I can get the other 2 as well. Thanks for sharing…they are gorge. Milani was on point with these!

I love me some Milani. I hope these blushes get to Jamaica soon ( if they ever get here). Can’t wait to try them out. I hope that they blend as easily as you say. Just a bit concerned about the way they swatched.

Yes they do swatch patchy but they are very finely milled so once you get a good amount on the brush they blend well. You just have to build up the color to your liking. Hope that helps!
