One of my favorite fashion designers Marc Jacobs has decided to put his hand in the beauty pot with his latest creation Marc Jacobs Beauty, an extensive makeup line available only at Sephora. He has been extremely successful with his namesake fashion lines, retail stores, perfume collections and as Creative Director at Louis Vuitton so I expect no less from his makeup line.
Marc himself guided every aspect of the creation of Marc Jacobs Beauty including the Style Eye-Con No. 7 Palette that draws inspiration from moods, music, and icons.
Style Eye-Con No 7 Plush Shadow Palette, $59
His three personal essentials are groomed brows, kissable lips and bright eyes, and the collection clearly reflects this…
Lip Lock Moisture Balm, $24
Lovemarc Lip Gel, $30
Lust For Lacquer Lip Vinyl, $28
Highliner Gel Crayon, $25
Lash Lifter Gel Volume Mascara, $26
Remedy Concealer Pen, $39
The collection also includes face products…
Genius Gel Super-Charged Foundation, $48
Shameless Bold Blush, $30
O!Mega Bronze Perfect Tan, $49
Enamored Hi-Shine nail Lacquer, $18
and brushes… which are on the EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE side!
The Bronze Bronzer Brush No. 12, $78 (wow)
There is a little of everything in the collection and it appears to cater to all skintones, I definitely spotted a lot of shades for the brown skinned beauties. The collection looks very impressive and already has great reviews. I’m going to have to stop in Sephora to get a closer look and I can’t wait to try some products from the line. You can shop the collection at your local Sephora store or at sephora.com. Visit marcjacobsbeauty.com to learn more about the collection and Marc’s inspiration.
