I’ve been on the hunt for this lipstick since it came out this past Spring with no luck finding it. It seems like it took the drugstores here forever to get the new Wet ‘n Wild displays and when they did, everything was gone so fast that I missed it. I was bummed but still kept looking. While browsing the makeup aisles in Duane Reade I noticed that they mixed the new Wet ‘n Wild Megalast lipstick shades in with the old ones and there she was. I was super excited to find her and purchased without second thought. I have no regrets as she’s gorgeous!
Purty Persimmon is an almost neon Red Orange/Coral. Depending upon your undertones the shade can lean more red or orange. I have warm undertones so it leans slightly more orange on me. If you have cool undertones it may lean more red. Demi-matte in finish, it is smooth, creamy and very pigmented but can be slightly drying. I suggest applying a lip balm underneath and you won’t have any problems. It is long wearing but you will have to reapply after a meal. I can live with that. I wear it with NYX Lipliner Pencil in Orange which is a perfect match…

I love, love, love… did I say love?! Love this color! Orange has been the lip color of the season and this is thee orange, especially for the brown skinned beauties who may be afraid of orange lips. You must get this if you can find it. It is said that Purty Persimmon is a dupe of MAC So Chaud, I don’t have So Chaud so I can not compare, but I will tell you that I just scratched it off my list. What I can say is that Purty Persimmon is very comparable in shade to Sleek MakeUp True Color Lipstick in OMG, Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Coral and Inglot Gel Lipstick in #43. Wet n’ Wild Megalast Lipsticks retail from $.99-$2.99. Must I say more? Get it!

When I looked at the first pic of the lippy in the tube I was like “ehh” but then I opened the post and saw it on you and was like “Whoa”. I may just have to give this a try…and it’s WNW so it won’t break the bank,lol. That cheek bone is popping’ also…doesn’t even look like Razin.
