Top 10 Beauty Faves of 2011

It was extremely hard for me to pick only 10 products as favorites for 2011 as a lot of my favorite products from 2010 are still my faves this year. So I decided that I would not do any repeats from last year to make it easier for me to choose. So here you go, my top ten favorite beauty products of 2011…

Urban Decay Naked Palette

"Beauty Faves Urban Decay Naked Palette"

I’ve had the Naked Palette since it first came out and I am ashamed to admit that I didn’t use it too much and it sat in my stash neglected last year. On a brighter note, I used it a lot this year since I was loving neutral eyes with bright lips. Perfect for your MUA kit, especially great for Bridal Makeup. I may just have to break and get Naked 2 as well.

Black Radiance Complexion Perfection Shine Control Primer

"Beauty Fave Black Radiance Primer"

Ever since I picked up this Black Radiance Primer I’ve barely touched the other primers in my stash. It’s my current fave and beats all of the rest I’ve tried. Keeps my oil at bay, minimizes my pores and is dirt cheap!

MAC Cleanse Off Oil

"Beauty Fave MAC Cleanse Off Oil"

I’ve been using this oil-based makeup remover for almost 2 years and it is my holy grail. I get nervous when I am running out. It removes all of my makeup, even waterproof eye makeup, and doesn’t break me out. Cheers to that!

Ben Nye Neutral Set

"Beauty Fave Ben Nye Neutral Set"

I always use Ben Nye Neutral Set Translucent Setting Powder to set my makeup, and use it in my kit as well. The colorless powder sets foundation without altering the color and controls oil very well, especially with a good primer.

Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel

"Beauty Fave Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel"

I used the Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel in #77 Matte Black almost everyday ever since I picked it up from IMATS. It is the darkest black gel eyeliner that I’ve ever used and once it dries it doesn’t budge or smudge. Inglot has a nice color selection for the AMC liners and they can also be used for body art. Definitely kit worthy.

Sleek Luminaire Highlighting Concealer

"Beauty Fave Sleek Luminaire Highlighting Concealer"

The Sleek Luminaire Highlighting Concealer is another product that I don’t ever want to run out of. As a matter of fact I need to order more. A godsend for my under eye dark circles, this concealer really brightens up my eyes without being heavy or cakey. I use the darkest shade L05 almost everyday and I have the entire range of shades in my MUA Kit.

Sleek True Color Lipstick

"Beauty Fave Sleek True Color Lipstick"

I couldn’t rave enough about the Sleek True Color Lipsticks since I received the entire selection of shades this past Summer. They are simply dabomb.com. Extremely pigmented, non-drying, long lasting and really true to color. I use these on myself and in my MUA Kit. My favorite shade is OMG, a gorgeous bright orange-red, and I know I will be rocking it again all Spring and Summer of next year!

Inglot Sleeks Cream Lip Paint #91

"Beauty Fave Inglot Sleeks Cream Lip Paint"

This is my favorite nude gloss. Great pigmentation, very moisturizing and not sticky at all. A great nude for brown skinned beauties, but will work with any complexion.  Looks great over Rimmel Lipstick in Birthday Suit, my favorite nude lip combo.

KKCenterHK Lashes ES A0139

I just couldn’t get enough of these lashes this year since I received them for review. I am a little more than halfway through my box and must order another. Adds drama to the lashes without being too over the top and fake looking. I’ve worn them on dates, out with the girls and even to work. Very versatile and another great pick for your MUA Kit!

Elasta QP Glaze

"Beauty Fave Elasta QP Glaze"

Very similar to another fave of mine ORS Olive Oil Edge Control but much lighter without the build up, this is a must have to tame my nape when I’m in need of a relaxer. It moisturizes and adds shine while it holds, and doesn’t leave build up. Contains no wax, petroleum or alcohol, and is also enriched with olive oil which is a big plus as olive oil is great for your hair.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your favorite beauty products of 2011?
