I usually don’t do the whole dress up for Halloween thing, but this year I decided to go to a costume party and I went as a Playboy Bunny. I did a simple smokey eye, added lashes along with my Eye Candy Lens, and finished off the look with lots of blush and a bold lip. Cold is never cute. The midi skirt is very popular this Fall and with the temperature dropping rapidly in NYC I am grateful for the trend. A midi skirt falls between the knee cap and mid calf in length, and the longer hem is perfect for the cooler weather. You can be cute and wear your skirts without freezing your assets off. Bold brows are hot for Fall and unfortunately my sparse brows do not make the cut, so a brow kit is a necessity for me. Sleek recently launched their brow kit which comes in 2 shades, Light and Dark. MAC Rebel is the latest addition to my arsenal of Fall lipsticks and I can already see that it will be one of my faves. It’s a bright pinkish-purple, on the darker end of the magenta spectrum with a Satin finish. Definitely bold enough to grab attention on it’s own so I paired it with winged eyeliner and a blush in the same color family. Winged liner with bold lips has been my go to look these days. I’ve had MAC Club eyeshadow for over a year and totally forgot about it until I was rearranging my palettes last night. I decided to pull it out and do a quick look with it. Club is a red-brown with a green pearl duochrome and the color changes depending on what color base you use.
