Sleek True Color Lipstick Swatches & Review

I love the Sleek True Color Lipsticks and OMG was my go to shade all Summer, followed by Mystic. The True Color lipsticks come in 20 shades ranging from nudes, to super bright barbie pinks and bold berries with sheen and matte finishes. There is something for everyone. Don’t believe me? Then see for yourself…

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Liquer"

Liqueur (sheen) is a champagne pink nude that is universally flattering and would work with any skintone.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Naked"

Naked (sheen) is a beige nude with yellow undertones and would work best for those with yellow tones in their complexion or olive toned skin.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Barely There"

Barely There (sheen) is a light coral nude that leans pink and is universally flattering. However, for my brown skinned beauties I would suggest that you apply it lightly and maybe apply a complimentary gloss on top. When applied opaque it becomes a bit stark.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Bare All"

Bare All (matte) is very similar to Barely There but is matte instead and slightly darker. Universally flattering.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Peaches & Cream"

Peaches & Cream (sheen) is similar to both Barely There and Bare All but leans  peach instead of pink. Very universally flattering nude peach that would work well with any skintone dependent upon the look.

"Sleek True Color Lipsticks"

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Mystic"

Mystic (matte) is a bright magenta pink. Universally flattering and works really well on dark skintones. They swooned over this one in the MAC store!

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Baby Doll"

Baby Doll (sheen) is a pale pink that kind of reminds me of MAC Viva Glam Gaga if built up. Will work best with lighter skintones but brown skinned beauties could rock this as well with a pale pink gloss on top in a slightly darker shade to balance it out. That is how I make Gaga work for me.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Amped"

Amped (matte) is a super bright hot pink. Reminds me of MAC Candy Yum Yum. Universally flattering BUT if you are shy of brights this is not for you. It is that bright… and I love it!

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Fuchsia"

Fuchsia (sheen) is the sheen version of Amped but seems a bit more wearable  because the sheen tones it down some.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Coral Reef"

Coral Reef (sheen) is a true coral. Universally flattering. Similar to MAC Vegas Volt, just a tad bit darker.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Candy Cane"

Candy Cane (sheen) is mix of red, pink and coral… like a deep watermelon shade. Yeah that describes it perfectly. Universally flattering. Gorgeous. One of my faves.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick OMG"

OMG (sheen) is a bright, see your lips before they see you Orange Red. OMG is the perfect name for it because that is the  reaction that I get every time I wear it. Universally flattering, if you dare. See me wearing OMG here. Similar to Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick in Coral and Inglot Gel Lipstick in #43.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Stiletto"

Stiletto (matte) is a bright blue based red and reminds me of MAC Ruby Woo and Wet n wild Megalast Lipstick in stoplight Red. Universally Flattering.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Vixen"

Vixen (sheen) is a bright red with slight orange undertones. Similar to OMG but has more red in it. Reminds me of Revlon Fire & Ice lipstick. Universally flattering.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Vamp"

Vamp (matte) is a brown based dark red/light burgundy and would work best for those with olive skin or yellow undertones.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Cherry"

Cherry (sheen) is a bold berry red. Perfect for Fall and universally flattering.

"Sleek True Color Lipstick Mulberry"

Mulberry (sheen) is a deep blackberry shade, Almost black with wine undertones. Vamp at it’s best. A dupe for Wet ‘n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Vamp It Up (919B). Another goodie for Fall but you have to be confident to pull this off.   Make sure to use a liner with this one to avoid bleeding.

I did not swatch these as they are unopened and part of my 2nd Blogiversary Giveaway. However, Papaya Punch is the matte equivalent of Coral Reef and Heartbreaker is the matte equivalent of Candy Cane. Pink Freeze is a bright Matte Pink, similar to Amped but leans slightly more pink. You can see swatches of these on The Style & Beauty Doctor.

Sleek True Color Lipsticks are very pigmented and wears well, even through meals. The sheen shades are very creamy and moisturizing. You don’t even need to put a lip balm underneath. The matte shades although a little longer wearing, are slightly dry yet not as dry as your typical matte. Nothing a little lip balm can’t fix. If you suffer from dry lips then you will want to go with sheens or moisturize your lips well prior to applying, and don’t forget to exfoliate! If you like the matte shades but are not into mattes, you can always put a gloss on top.

The Sleek True Color Lipsticks retail for $6 USD each and can be purchased at www.sleekmakeup.com. I highly recommend these. Another winner from Sleek!.

So what’s your favorite shade of the Sleek True Color Lippies?
