When it comes to perfume, I have my select set of fragrances that I stick to and I don’t really venture out much. A new scent has to smell EXTREMELY divine for me to add a full size to my collection. I will use the sample size until it’s gone and that’s that. Occasionally a new fragrance will sneak it’s way into my collection if it is gifted to me. I’ll use it here and there if it smells really good, but they usually don’t make it into the daily rotation. However, there is the occasional exception. Here are my current faves…
Burberry Brit, Versace Red Jeans, L'Eau d'Issey, M by Mariah Carey, Gucci Rush, Prada Tendre
Burberry Brit
Notes: Italian Lime, Icy Pear, Green Almond, White Peony, Sugared Almonds, Amber, Mahogany, Vanilla, Tonka Bean.
My Dad gifted me this perfume a few years ago for Christmas and it has been my fave since. It is soft enough to wear all year round, yet strong enough to leave an impression. However I find that it doesn’t last very long and by the end of the day it lingers off. I use this mostly for work as the scent is light and unoffensive. I use bottle after bottle of this and continue to purchase it when I run out. Note to Burberry… please bring back the old bottle with the signature plaid print, the new bottle is boring!
Versace Red Jeans
Notes: Top Note: Peach, Apricot, Cassis, Freesia Middle Note: Lily Of The Valley, Violet, Waterlily, Rose Base Note: Sandalwood, Musk, Vanilla
This was my favorite perfume in high school. I wore it for four years straight alternating with Tommy Girl. I grew tired of it in my college years but ran across it at Loehman’s earlier this year, and fell in love all over again. All you need is a little bit and the scent lingers all day long. I occasionally wear this scent to work but wear it most when I am just chilling on the weekends.
L’Eau d’Issey by Issey Miyake
Notes: Lotus, Freesia, Cyclamen, Rose Water, Fresh Peonies, Carnation, White Lilies, Precious Woods, Osmanthus, Tuberose, Amberseed, Musk.
I love this stuff and I have my Mom hooked as well. It is a very strong and sexy scent. It is definitely too overpowering for everyday use. I usually spray it in the air and walk through it and the scent lingers all night. I stay far away from this scent in the Summer, daytime and for work… and wear it mostly in the Winter at night, when I am going out on a date or partying with the girls. Definitely an attention grabber!
M by Mariah Carey
Notes: Tahitian Tiare, Gardenia, Amber, Marshmallow, “Sea Breeze” accord, Patchouli, Moroccan incense
My Nana gifted me this perfume for my birthday last year right before she passed away, and it was love at first scent. It is a very sexy, soft, sweet and feminine scent that lingers all day. Very sensual. M works for any occasion and when I am not sure what else to wear, I choose this and it never fails. It is also soft enough to wear to work.
Gucci Rush
Notes: Gardenia, Freesia, Jasmine, Vanilla, Patchouli.
I remember my Nana wearing this scent when going out with her girls. I always loved it and thought it to be so glamorous. When she passed away, I inherited her bottle and I adore it. I use it sparingly as not to use it up too fast, and only wear it on special occasions. It is a very sexy scent. Strong and intoxicating. All you need is a small amount on your pressure points (behind the ears and on the wrists) and the scent lasts all day. In fact,it lasts through a shower and tends to linger in clothing. Men love this stuff!
Prada Tendre
Notes: Lemon, Mandarin Orange, Neroli, Bergamot, Cardamom, Maté, Sambac Jasmine, French Plum, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Virginia Cedar, Ladanum, Benzoin.
This scent was also a Christmas gift from my Dad back when it came out in 2006. I used to wear it every single day and everywhere! So sexy and spicy. It is pretty strong and you only need a very small amount. Too much and it’s sickening. If I put on too much, it gives me a headache and makes me nauseous. I believe that is why I stopped wearing it for a while but now I know better. I am running out and need to purchase a new bottle ASAP!

Fruit scents are always a favourite of mine. I also like the Brittany Spears collection for some reason. DKNY apple based ones have a special place in my heart!

I'v never heard of this scent either. I am going to look into it. Love L'Eau d'Issey and a bottle lasts forever since you only need a tiny amount.
You already know how I feel about Gucci Rush and Burberry Brit (collection worthy)! But my other collection fave is Escada Magnetism. Smells like candy! I get compliments almost every time I wear it.
Also Lacoste Pour Femme in the summer. It’s very light, but strong enough to last all day. I love it!

Nice collection. You've got scents for every occasion. I really only wear one perfume on a regular basis–Philosophy's Amazing Grace. It's light and fresh smelling. For special occasions I usually reach for Michael Kors orginal or MKors Island.

I just ran out of my Prada! Love that stuff. I usually wear a scent for a year then switch to something else. Past faves have included Very Irresistible by Givenchy, Armani Code, Clinique Aromatics Elixir, etc.
Right now I'm looking at Bvlgari Omnia Green Jade. I received a sample in a Sephora order and fell in love with it. Or I might pick up Sexual Sugar by Michel Germain. Some Bloomingdale's lady shoved it at me last week. lol.

if your looking for a new scent theres a few you should try: flowerbomb is awesome i love it. lola by marc jacob is nice the original michael kors, narcisco rodriquez . i am a perfume whore i love to smell good and my dresser looks like a perfume counter right out of Macys or Saks. give the new scents a try they have some real nice ones out there.
