Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Bohemian Palette Swatches & Review

Recently I announced that Sleek Makeup’s website has gone live and the brand is finally available in the United States. I waited patiently for this so as soon as I was able to get on the site, I promptly placed an order for the new limited edition Bohemian Palette, the Original Palette and the Storm Palette. This review is for the Bohemian Palette.

"Sleek Bohemian Palette"

Sleek moved away from their traditional black palette and made this palette white.I actually like it. The palettes also are usually encased in a clear plastic with graphics instead of cardboard. I think the cardboard is pretty cool and I love the graphics.

The palette has a bohemian theme as the name implies and is inspired by the rich tones of the trend. It is a predominately matte palette with nine rich matte shades and three shimmers. I like the fact that the palette is made up of mostly mattes as I have more than enough frost/shimmer shadows in my collection.

Swatches (No Base)

OMG, the color selection is amazing! The pigmentation… amazing again! These shadows are so soft and smooth and apply like butter. They are a bit creamy to the touch. The frost shades apply very smooth and pigmented with one swatch. Most of the matte shades had great color payoff with one heavy swatch, except for the yellow and eggshell shades which I had to swatch a few times because they were a bit chalky. My favorite shades are the navy blue and the purple, both are gorgeous. The purple reminds a little of Make Up Forever #92, and check out the pigmentation of the black… can we say move over to MAC’s Carbon?!
Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase. The palette met, as a matter of fact exceeded my expectations. The palette costs $8.51 USD which is not bad for a palette of 12 highly pigmented shadows with great quality. I also purchased the Original and Storm Palettes, reviews coming soon.

Rating: 4/5

Did you pick up the Bohemian Palette yet? Do you own any Sleek palettes, if so what are your thoughts?

hey! loooooooove your site! I was so happy when I (recently) read that Sleek was shipping to the US. I think they’ve changed the prices because when I look for a palette it shows up as $10.00, but its still good for the quality I guess. Do you own any Coastal Scents/BH Cosmetics palettes? If you do, how would you rate them and/or compare them to Sleek??
What size are the shadows that come in the Sleek palettes compared to MAC pans?
Thanks so much for a GREAT reference and learning site!!!

    • Thank you so much for stopping by. I am so glad that you are enjoying my site. You are correct. Last time I checked the Sleek palettes had indeed gone up to $10. It is still good quality but I am really going to need for
Sleek to come down on their shipping. I'm not sure if they have since I placed that order as I haven't ordered since.

I do not own any BH Cosmetics or Coastal Scents Palettes so I can't compare. The shadows in the sleek palette are very small compared to MAC. If MAC eyeshadows are about the size of a quarter than the shadows in the sleek palette are about the size of a nickel. I will have to measure the exact size when I get home. Hope this helps!

Just wondering… Why isnt the bohemaian palette up on the website? I heard it wasn’t limited edition.. and I saw a picture of it in the “members only” part.
