Essie Status Symbol from the Spring 2009 collection is a hot bubble gum pink creme with a slight jelly finish. It applied pretty smooth, not streaky but a bit spotty. After 2 coats I could still see some spots that were a bit bare compared to the rest of the nail. The third coat evened everything out. The shade is very bright and bold and reminds me of Summer, not Spring. Perfect for the beach.
