L’Oreal Studio Secrets Professional & Essie Art of Spring… haul!

L’Oreal has finally released the Studio Secrets Professional Collection in the US. The news was music to my ears after months of stalking the products on numerous beauty blogs, wishing that I could get them here. My most sought after product was the face primer… so of course I went out and picked up  Secret No. 1 Magic Perfecting Base. Since Rite Aid was having a buy one get one 50% off sale, I also picked up an eyeshadow from Secret No. 4 Bright Eyes, Wear Infinite Eyeshadow…

Believe it or not, this is my first face primer. I have been researching primers for months in search of one to try out for starters. So I am really anxious to try this. I rubbed a tiny bit on the back of my hand and it left it silky smooth. Full review for this product coming soon!

The Wear Infinite Eyeshadow in Frosted Icing is meant to brighten eyes by highlighting the brow bone. It is a very pretty shade, perfect for use as a highlighter. Glides on smooth with nice pigmentation. When I swatched it, first thing I thought was MAC eyeshadow in Shroom. Sure enough we have another dupe on our hands… *edit: Frosted Icing is just a tad bit more white*
Top: L’Oreal Frosted Icing
Bottom: MAC Shroom

The primer was $12.95, steep for a drugstore brand, but I paid $2.95 since I had a $10 Rite Aid Gift Certificate. The shadow was $2.24 after the 50% off.
Now onto Essie Art of Spring Collection. I stopped in Ricky’s near my job again to see if they had it in yet, and they did… yay! So I picked up…
Lilacism and Tart Deco
and since they added more to the $1.99 sale, I also picked up a few more Essies and an Orly…
Status Symbol, Big Bag Theory, Oh Cabana Boy
So are you guys planning to pick up anything from the L’Oreal Studio Secrets Professional Collection? Essie Art of Spring?
